Here at AutoSlash, we’ve spent more than a decade helping travelers get the best possible car rental price. Now we’re thrilled to be doing the same for hotels. With our brand new site, HotelSlash, we aim to help you find the lowest hotel price every time.

Although we’re still in beta, the early feedback on HotelSlash site has been extremely positive. Customers really love that our rates are significantly below what they’re seeing on other booking websites. Our inventory has already grown to over one million hotels all over the world, so you will always be able to find a fabulous place to stay at a low, low rate.

What Makes HotelSlash Different?

Just like car rental prices, hotel rates go up and down. The trick is to strike at the right time and lock in the lowest price.

Most people make a hotel reservation and then leave it alone, which is the same as leaving money on the table. If you book a refundable rate and the price drops, you can cancel your reservation and rebook at the lower rate. But who has time to watch hotel rates all day?

That’s where HotelSlash comes in. We’ll track your hotel reservation for free and alert you when the price drops so you can cancel and rebook. Our automatic price-tracking of all reservations ensures that not only will you get the best deal up front, but you’ll also get an alert if rates drop, which can save you even more.

How to Get Started Snagging the Lowest Hotel Price

Since HotelSlash offers below-market rates not available to the general public, you need to create an account to use the service.

We’re currently offering early access exclusively for AutoSlash customers, but we’ll soon be launching to the general public. Once that happens, we’ll be charging a membership fee. But here’s the good news: Anyone who signs up now will always have free access to HotelSlash for life. As in forever.

Signing up for access to HotelSlash is easy. Just click here. If you’ve previously used HotelSlash and already have an account, then you’re already on our “forever free” plan so rest easy. If you haven’t yet tried it out, don’t delay because this offer will not be around for long.

Want to save on your future hotel stays without lifting a finger? Give us a try. We promise to make it worth your while.

Best,

These are the best road trips because you can stop and see interesting places on your way, as opposed to just driving from A-B as fast as possible.

Although there are many beautiful roads in Europe, none are as stunning as the route between Venice & Dubrovnik.

You will drive through stunning scenery most of your trip. There are numerous stops along the road to stop and take in all the sights.

Highlights include Torcello on Lake Garda's islands Lido di Jesolo (or Torcello), the Dolomites of northern Italy, and Carcassonne in southern France, which is surrounded by medieval walls.

Where is the most convenient place to rent car?

Airports, rental agencies, and hotels are the most popular places to rent cars.

It is easy to find airports close to you using online travel websites like Priceline or Expedia.

If you are looking for rental options near your location, local companies might be worth looking into. These are usually cheaper and easier than booking on an airline website.

You might want to consider public transport if you rent a car for less then two weeks. A city-wide bus pass allows unlimited use within a designated area.

Renting a convertible is possible if you travel with children. People prefer convertibles because they offer more protection for their children.

Do you have a need for a car throughout Europe?

The best solution will depend on where you live and the things you love to do. A typical European city may have priorities that are different from one in a rural area.

You also need to think about how long you are going to be in each country. You might need a more economical car if your plans are to move frequently.

In most cases, buying an used car is cheaper than renting one. A used car is usually cheaper than renting in Europe for many reasons. You can save money on fuel costs, parking fees, maintenance, insurance, taxes, and so forth.

Another benefit is that the car can be driven safely.

There are some excellent websites out there that give information about car rentals in Europe. Please see our recommendations below.

What documents do you need to drive in Europe and why?

You will need all documentation for each country you visit.

Additionally, you will need copies of your passport and driving license as well as an insurance policy. Your insurance policy must cover you while driving around Europe.

In some countries, you may also need to show proof of ownership of the car. This can include registration papers and a bill.

Some countries require that drivers have a valid driver's licence from their home country.

How To

How to report an accident in a rental car

It's possible that something could happen when you drive a rented vehicle. You can get in an auto accident, your luggage may be stolen, or someone could be hurt. You will need to learn how to file a claim with your insurance company in order to avoid losing any money.

In the United States, if you were involved in a car accident, it should be reported right away. By reporting the accident immediately, police can record the details and notify you of their findings. They will issue you either a ticket or keep a record of the incident. They will then file a claim against you driver's licence.

After getting in an accident, dial 911 immediately. A dispatcher will ask basic questions regarding the situation and whether anyone was hurt. After answering basic questions, a dispatcher will let you know where to go or who to call next. In most cases, exchanging contact information is the first thing that you do after an accident. Most likely, the other person will give you their name and telephone number. Next, check that everyone is alright. You'll help someone who is unable or hurt to move independently.

If no one was hurt, you'll want to document everything. Notate the time, place and weather conditions. The type of collision. Names of all involved. Injuries sustained. If anyone was injured, it is your responsibility to ensure that they receive medical attention. Also, you'll want to keep track of your damages, including damage to your vehicle and the other party's vehicle.

Then, follow up with your insurance. First, you will need to fill in an online claim. Your insurance provider may offer to pay the initial deductible amount before you receive the remainder of the claim. Once the claim is paid, you and the other driver must sign a release agreement. Finally, you'll receive a check from the insurer.

Once you have filed your claim, it's important that you follow all guidelines set forth by your insurer. Follow these rules if you are allowed to use another car or have someone else drive your rental vehicle.
